WORKSHIP DESCRIPTION: The Golden Mean has been recognized since the time of Pythagoras and it has played an important role in the design of Greek temples and art through the ages from the ancient Greeks to Salvador Dali and more. Learn about the characteristics of the Golden Mean and experiment with using applications in drawings. Learn about the role of the Golden Mean, also called the Divine Proportion, in art, architecture, nature, math, Dan Brown's books and more.
MATERIALS REQUIRED: All necessary materials will be provided. As the class progresses you may choose to bring additional art materials to realize your plans for how to apply the Golden Mean in art.
